There have been an awful lot of very successful racing cars that use a spool (no diff at all, same concept as a locked diff)So we're left with increased lock being the main thing exclusive to drift cars.Increased lock, without the addition of a faster steering rack, will not alter the feel of the car in ANY way. You can simply turn the wheels further when you do lose the rear end, but pottering around it feels completely normal.I guess I'm rambling a bit now so I'll try to wrap it up.I had a BMW 328 drift car, that was also the best fast road car I've ever owned. It handled beautifully, it went sidewards beautifully.
