No panel lines were lost in in this area which helps speed up the construction and finishing process. both 2005 and 2011 Indonesian Air Force Flanker camouflage are all hard-edged.The white on the Indonesian Pentagons wer a bit transparent. I made a cut out from Xerox paper and sprayed a light mist of Tamiya XF-2 to get a better solid finish.Painting the whites of the missiles was a big challenge. I had little time to spare, but I need multiple passes to get a solid finish using Tamiya XF-2. So how did i get a good finish quickly? I sprayed it with Tamiya Liquid Surface Primer instead. Because they come in white, a couple of thin sprays does the trick. A final coat of Future seals it from any finger marks.
